Ad Targeting Options

QC Cốc Cốc’s targeting options ensure your ads reach interested customers at the right time. You can maximize your exposure to specific groups of users, or target all of Cốc Cốc’s 21 million users for the most reach.

For example, with QC Cốc Cốc’s targeting options, you can set your ad to:

  • only display to users who searched for “women’s clothing”
  • only display to people living in Hanoi.
  • only display to men who are 25-34 years old.
  • display to all users, but only from 5 pm to 9 pm on weekends.
  • ...and more!

Here are all the possible targeting options for your QC Cốc Cốc ads:

Keyword targeting

With keyword targeting, your ad will be displayed to users who search for specific phrases you choose. For example, you could choose to target only users who search for terms relating to or exactly matching “women’s shoes”.

Available for these ad types:

  • Search ads
  • Banner ads

Category targeting

Category targeting allows you to target users who are interested in specific topics. For instance, you could target users who are interested in “Fashion” or “Games”. QC Cốc Cốc currently offers 19 different categories.

Category targeting is based on the websites users previously visited. For example, users who visited qc.coccoc.com in the past would fall into the “Marketing” category.

  • Banner ads
  • Icon ads

Demographic targeting

Demographic targeting allows you to target users based on their age, gender, or both. For instance, you could target users who are men between the ages of 25 and 34, or just all users who are women.

Please note - you cannot combine demographic targeting with keyword or category targeting. For example, it is not possible to target users who are both women AND interested in fashion.

How we calculate demographics:

Demographics are calculated based on the information that users agreed to share with Coc Coc. In addition, some websites might provide us with the demographic information of their users.

Geolocation targeting

Geolocation targeting allows you to target users in specific cities or provinces in Vietnam. You can also choose to target your ads nationwide for maximum exposure.

You can select as many locations as you want for each ad.

Ad scheduling

Ad scheduling allows you to run your ad during specific days of the week or specific hours during each day. For example, you could set your ads to only run from 9 am to 5 pm during the workweek. Or, you could choose to only run your ads from 12 pm to 4 pm on Saturdays.

  • Banner ads
  • Icon ads

Retargeting

Retargeting is an option for search ads that lets you reach users who previously searched for terms you choose. You can reach these interested users again to get another chance to convince them to buy. Retargeting ads only display on the Cốc Cốc browser new tab.
